Earth, high desert earth with hints of fig. A myriad of spices and again the smell of earth. Like the balance in great music the 2011 Par la mer tastes Dizzy Gillespie smooth. At this point you simply must have some Mediterranean food from Northern Africa or Spain to finish the ensemble. The melody rings earth and spice, earth and spice.
